• I'm sick, but I'm not chronic or terminal or even bedridden.
• My boy took care of himself while Mama was heaving.
• Hubby is home at this time.
• Annual physical results are in: all is well except for a bit of anemia!
• Great time in Memphis with friends

• friendly AND helpful customer service representatives
• good medical insurance
• clean carpet
• beautiful autumn days
• a juxtaposition: Hubby's job has become more solidified - at the expense of a collegue. thankful for the security; sad for the other family.

Normal Day

As I watch Buddy bloom before my eyes, I marvel at the boy he is now and anticipate the man he will become. I try hard to squeeze every drop of "normal" from the day, knowing that though the days are long, the years are short. Soon my little boy will be gone, replaced by a man, and all I will have of this time is memories.
